NFSA - 2023-2024 St. Johns Future Stars

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

We are pleased to continue the growth of our young “future stars”, as we get back to training where we will focus on individual attacking and defending to introduce game concepts. These spots filled up very quickly, so act fast if you would like a spot for your young star!!! This is a program designed to get kids at a young age before they develop bad habits in the game of soccer. This is the age to introduce the “beautiful game” and get them comfortable with the ball. One of the biggest weaknesses in American youth is being afraid to have the ball and take chances. This program will be heavy on the technical side and teaching ball mastery skills (being good with the ball). The kids will learn to use every possible surface on the foot to change directions, be dangerous and unpredictable. The main focus is on dribbling, passing and receiving, as these are the basic skills that are often over looked in training which leads to kicking the ball versus wanting to keep the ball. Space will be limited, so act fast if you are interested!! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at www.measure1616@gmail.com for all the information and registration. ***NOTE - we need at least 12 athletes for this program to happen***
